Hello and welcome back to another review!
Today I am sharing one of the best hydrating serums I have used. It is the House of Immortelle B5 Anti-Wrinkle Serum*. I’ve seen this brand floating around IG before and it was highly recommended from various bloggers, so I was keen to try this out. It retails for $54.95 for a 30ml bottle, and is cruelty free, vegetarian friendly and paraben free.
Formulated to reduce the intensity of muscle movement, visibly minimising the depth, size and appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Natural collagen is boosted while hydration is locked in, preventing further deterioration from premature aging.
Non-greasy texture, deep penetration, prevents skin dehydration, helps to lock moisture in, perfect to apply before foundation or applying make-up, free from artificial fragrances & colors, silicon free, paraben free
Using fingertips, apply 2-3 drops to the entire face, neck, and chest. Suitable for all skin types, especially mature skin
Jasminum grandiflorum (Jasmine) floral water, Sodium hyaluronate, Aqua, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Vegetable glycerin, Eucalyptus punctata leaf cell extract, Punica granatum pericarp (Pomegranate) extract, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), *Boswellia Carterii (Frankincense), *Helichrysum angustifolium (Immortelle), *#Lavandula angustifolia (Organic True Lavender)
*Essential oil #Organic
Really nice simple packaging, in a good-sized container – not too bulky. Has a scent to it, which I am guessing is the lavender, it isn’t overpowering. Sinks into the skin easily and doesn’t feel greasy.
What I liked:
Love the outside packaging, and how it comes in a dropper – really convenient.
It’s super lightweight, feels really nice on the skin – it feels like water!
- Not greasy
It doesn’t leave a greasy feeling and sinks into the skin very nicely.
- Don’t need a lot
I use about 3 drops for my face and neck which is sufficient enough.
What I didn’t like:
All the raving reviews were well deserved because I couldn’t find any faults in this product!
I really enjoyed trialling this product and I found it hydrated my skin really well. It layered nicely with the rest of my skincare, with no complications. I imagine it will last 2-3 months given its size and with daily use. It’s suitable for all skin types, though it’s recommended for those with dry or mature skin types. I find myself to be fairly normal these days, with a bit of dehydration perhaps and it worked well for my skin type.
