19 Things I learnt in 19 years

Hello again!

Today is a bit of a different post as you can tell from the title. Today’s actually my birthday so I thought I’d post something a bit personal. Also I have some spare time since I just got back to uni, so everything is easy going – before it gets hectic as we head into exams next month 😦

Anyways, these are 19 things I learnt in my 19 years of living. I hope you enjoy, and get to learn a few things about myself and yourself too!

  1. Don’t neglect your education.
  2. Love yourself.
  3. It’s okay to be selfish.
  4. Love can wait if you’re still young.
  5. It’s okay to say no.
  6. Use your money wisely.
  7. Sometimes you gotta take the chance and just go for it.
  8. Life is precious.
  9. People show their love in all different kinds of ways.
  10. Don’t doubt yourself.
  11. Don’t shut yourself out from the world.
  12. It’s okay to be alone.
  13. You control your life.
  14. Don’t be so hard on yourself.
  15. Sometimes things happen out of your control. All you can do from there is to move on.
  16. Life doesn’t stop,
  17. You should attempt (most) things at least once.
  18. Be nice, even if everyone else isn’t.
  19. Your impact on someones life may be a lot bigger than you think.

That’s all I’ve got for you this week, what have you learnt about yourself or the world in this past year?

  1. Happy Be-lated birthday! I hope you had a lovely day!

It’s nice to get to know bloggers outside of beauty or reviews. I read your 19 things about you and to me you sound very mature for your age and actually thought you were in your twenty’s, but that being said, age is just a number and that shouldn’t be one of the things that define you. 🙂 x
